Beim einem der letzten posts ging es noch um einen Lippenstift aus der Luxusklasse, jetzt geht es ins andere Extrem. Ich habe ja hier schon einmal über einen limited edition lipstick von Manhattan berichtet. Der war klasse. Also konnte ich an dem Aufsteller der Blogger's Choice nicht einfach so vorbeigehen ohne einen Blick auf die Lippenstifte zu werfen und dann auch einen einzusacken. Hab ich nicht vor ein paar Tagen noch gesagt, dass ich selten roten Lippenstift trage? Daran hat sich nichts geändert, aber ich besitze sie auch einfach gerne, weil schön. Leuchtet ein. Zuerst ein paar Worte zur Blogger's Choice Kollektion. Vor einiger Zeit fanden sich ein paar ziemlich bekannte Bloggerdamen in New York ein und kreierten gemeinsam eine bunte Mischung aus Lippenstiften, Nagellacken und Lidschatten. Inspiriert wurden sie dabei vom Meatpacking District, Soho und China Town. Ich hätte mich in meinem liebsten borough Brooklyn umgesehen, aber ich wurde nicht gefragt und eingeladen war ich auch nicht ;)
Fire Escape wurde inspiriert von Soho. In der Gruppe hatten Trace von Honey and Milk, Youtuberin Julia Graf und Jettie von Give the Bitch her Chocolate das Sagen und entschieden sich für einen matten, kräftigen Rotton mit Blaustich. Er duftet (wie schon der Festival Icon Lippenstift) schön fruchtig. Die Textur ist schön matt und hält auch wirklich lange durch. Der Auftrag ist so lala. Fire Escape lässt sich nicht ganz easy mit einem Auftrag auf die Lippen bringen. Er ist recht fest und zieht ein wenig an den Lippen. Das ist weniger cool, aber damit kann man leben. Und für 3,99€ muss auch nicht alles perfekt sein.

Manhattan cosmetics' Blogger's Choice limited edition features three lipsticks, nail polishes and eyeshadow palettes. I already own a limited edition lipstick from a previous collection and really like it (read all about it here). The story behind the Blogger's Choice collection: Some of Germany's best known beauty bloggers were invited to New York to create a collection inspired by Soho, China Town and the Meatpacking District (what about Brooklyn? My favorite borough. There's so much inspiration, but they didn't ask me and I wasn't invited so I let them do their thing). The lipstick I chose is called Fire Escape, is inspired by Soho and was created by Trace from Honey and Milk, Vlogger Julia Graf and Jettie from the blog Give the Bitch her Chocolate. It is a matte, medium red with blue undertones and a fruity scent. Yes, red again. I know I said that I don't often wear red lipsticks, but somehow I like to collect them. Application though is a bit tricky. The lipstick is stiff due to the matte texture and is pulling on the lips when I'm applying it. But that's okay, because you can use a brush and besides that it's only 3,99€ and wearing time is pretty good.
