Sephora by Opi Casanova Is So Into Me

Nach dem Pink-Disaster von Dienstag, hatte ich das Gefühl, dass ich hier noch einen richtig hübschen Pinkton nachschieben muss. Casanova Is So Into Me aus der Sephora by Opi Linie ist so ein Ton. Es ist ein mittleres, rauchiges Pink. Es geht in die Richtung Altrosa, denke ich. Genau so mag ich mein Pink. Casanova Is So Into Me war Teil einer Valentinstagsedition, wie passend. Leider sind die Nagellacke aus dieser Serie nicht mehr erhältlich, weil der Lizenzvertrag von Sephora und Opi wohl ausgelaufen ist. Schade drum. Ich mochte die Namen und die Farben waren auch ganz zauberhaft. Die Haltbarkeit ist jetzt nicht ganz sooo dolle wie bei den regulären Opis, aber 3,4 Tage schafft Casanova Is So Into Me locker.

So this week's nail polish wasn't exactly my cup of tea. Not at all. So I thought that I need to show you another pink shade I actually like. Sephora by OPI Casanova Is So Into Me is one of these shades. It is a dusty, muted pink. I am so into it. I think it has been released around valentine's day, but I don't know what year. Sadly these nail polishes have been discontinued. I really liked the names and colors and in terms of longevity they were doing really good. I can wear Casanova Is So Into Me for 3 or 4 days without chipping.

Der SOPI Nagellack der Woche: Ocean Love Potion

Heute gibt es mal wieder einen Sephora by OPI Nagellack. Ocean Love Potion ist ein cremiges, rauchiges, dunkles Türkis bzw Seegrün mit deutlichem Grünanteil. Sephora nennt es ein "opaque mediterranean turqouise", eine ideale Sommerfarbe also. Ocean Love Potion deckt mit einer Schicht schon sehr gut, aber wie sonst auch habe ich zwei Schichten plus Topcoat aufgetragen. Ich meine mich daran erinnern zu können, dass der Lack 2009 ins Sortiment aufgenommen wurde (aber lege dafür nicht die Hand ins Feuer). Ich mag den Pinsel der Sephora by OPI Nagellacke unheimlich gerne (ähnlich wie die Pro wide brush der Opis) und bin fast schon ein bisschen traurig darüber, dass Sephora die Kooperation mit OPI eingestellt hat. Aus diesem Grund gibt es die Lacke auf der Sephora website und sicherlich auch in den Stores vor Ort zum Schnäppchenpreis.


Today I have another Sepora by OPI nail polish to show you. Ocean Love Potion is a creamy, dusty teal or sea green with a lot of green. Sephora calls this an "opaque mediterranean turqouise", perfect for summer. Ocean Love Potion is nearly opaque with just one coat, but as always I prefer two coats and a top coat. I think that this one has been released back in 2009, but I'm not quite sure (collection..?).
What I really like about the Sephora by OPI nail polishes is the brush (very similar to Opis's pro wide brush) and so I'm a little bit sad about the fact that this line will be discontinued. Check out the Sephora website and stores for special deals.

Der SOPI Nagellack der Woche: Chestnuts About You

Der Nagellack der Woche ist diesmal kein Opi, sondern ein Sopi. Ein Sephora by Opi Nagellack. In den USA und Kanada arbeitet Opi mit der Parfümerie Sephora zusammen. Das Ergebnis ist wie von Opi gewohnt, fabelhafte Farben und grandiose Namen. In dieser Woche ist Chestnuts About You auf meinen Nägeln.

Der stand schon lange auf meiner Wunschliste und deswegen wurde er ins Goodiekörbchen gepackt. 

Es ist ein wunderschöner Champagner/Rosé/Kupfer-Schimmerton. Und der Schimmer ist wow! Er erscheint ein wenig matt (und ist schwer zu fotografieren), fast so wie Penny Talk aus der Mirror Metallics Collection von Essie. 

Zwei Schichten plus Topcoat und es gibt fast nichts zu meckern. Die Haltbarkeit ist vielleicht nicht so so optimal wie die der regulären Opi Lacke, aber das kann ich verzeihen! 

This week's nail polish is a Sopi. A Sephora by Opi nail polish. Although we have some Sephora stores in Europe, I only came across these polishes in the USA (and Canada (haven't been there yet)). I don't know how long ago Opi teamed up with Sephora to create some fantastic polishes, but I'm glad they did! 

Chestnuts About You is a gorgeous champagne/rose/copper shimmering nail polish. It appears a little bit matte, just like Penny Talk from the Mirror Metallics Collection by Essie does (and Chestnuts is very hard to photograph). 

I used two coats of Chestnuts About You and one coat of topcoat. 

There are nearly no complaints about the formula so far, but I've noticed that wearing time is somewhat shorter than I have experienced it with my regular Opi nail polishes. But I guess I can live with that.

New in: Deluxe!

Warum das ein Deluxe-Post ist? Weil ich mich deluxe über die Sachen in diesem Post gefreut habe!

Meine Eltern waren vor kurzem in New York um meinen Cousin und seine Familie zu besuchen und haben mir eine prall gefüllte Goodiebag mitgebracht. 

Unter anderem gabs Bodycare, Kosmetik und Schminktäschchen von Victoria's secret, einen Cardigan von Hilfiger, Nagellack von Sephora by OPI, meinen liebsten Pinselreiniger von Sephora (der Beste überhaupt!!!), ein Portemonnaie von Henri Bendel, einen neuen Chubby Stick und mein absolutes Highlight: Meine erste Michael Kors-Tasche! Ich habe sie bereits zu meinem Date mit meiner Frisifee Martina von Liebe zum Detail ausgeführt und was soll ich sagen? Es war Liebe! 

P.S: In meinem Präsentkorb waren noch viel mehr tolle Sachen zu entdecken und ich bin auch fleißig dabei alles zu fotografieren und zu swatchen, also gibt's bald noch mehr guten stuff aus NYC :) 

Why this post is deluxe? Because my reaction was like woooooow that's deluxe! My parents have been in New York lately to visit my cousin and his lovely wife&kids and they brought some super cool stuff with them. 

Along with delicious scented bodycare, cosmetics and make-up bags from Victoria's Secret, came a cardigan from Hilfiger, nail polish from Sephora by OPI, my all-time favorite brush shampoo from Sephora (trust me it's the very best!!!), a purse from Henri Bendel, another Chubby Stick and the cherry on top: My first Michael Kors handbag!!! We already spent a day together at my hair-fairy Martina and what can I say? It's love! 

PS I'm still taking pictures and doing swatches to show you all the other pretty things that have been in my goodie bag. So stay tuned for some more good stuff :)
