5 under 10

Weiter mit meiner Augenmakeup-Routine: Die Maybelline Colossal Go Extreme Waterproof Mascara schmückt meine Wimpern fast täglich.

Have you ever dreamed about eating all the candy you want without getting fat? Or being locked in overnight in your favorite department store, or let's say their beauty section with all the luxury beauty brands? No? Well, I have to answer both questions with yes, sir. On a regular basis I see myself ruling chocolate city while chewing on my throne and still wearing size two. Other nights are filled with dreams which have me sitting on the floor already looking like the Joker with his signature makeup because I'm swatching thousands of Tom Ford Lipsticks, Charlotte Tilburry Foundations, Tarte Blushes, Hourglass Powders and stuff on my face. But it's daytime, because I'm afraid of the dark and being locked in a store at night is the stuff horror movies are made of. A girl can dream, right? But back to reality. I do get fat and my make up drawers are not filled with high end products only. I have a lot of things that doesn't cost a pretty penny and are still awesome. The five products below are part of my daily beauty routine and all of them are below ten euros/dollar.

Let's start with one part of my eye brow routine. The Eye Brow Liner in Light Brown is by H&M and retails for 2,95€. It maybe not super creamy, but easy to work with and matches my natural brow color well.
A well known brand for any drugstore make up lover is essence. Their all about matt! Fixing Compact Powder is a staple in my beauty routine. I mainly use the powder for my lashes. I dust  them with powder before I apply mascara. It makes them look thicker and fuller. I also use this powder to set my concealer. Multi purpose and it's only 2,95€.
Talking of eye make up: Another essential is the Colossal Go Extreme Volume Waterproof Mascara by Maybelline. It holds a curl and doesn't budge. It's one of the more expensive products of the bunch. It's somewhere between 7 and 10€, depending on sales and promotions which might be going on.
To take my eye make up off at night I like to use Mayebelline's Eye Make-Up Remover. It has these two different formulas in one and you have to give them a good shake to mix them up and then watch your waterproof mascara jump in the lake. It maybe no Lancôme Bi-Facial, but it gets the job done at a reasonable price, 4-6€ I think. I'm not sure though if this is available outside of Germany. I believe it has a different name and or different packaging in the rest of Europe and the USA.
The last product helps me to conceal my dark circles and saves me from looking like a zombie before I leave the house in the morning and its from Maybelline, again.: It's Maybelline's Instant Age Rewind Eraser Concealer in light. It's the one with the weird sponge applicator. I experienced zero creasing with this one which is just great. Count me into the Eraser fan crowd where we like to spend 8€ for one of the best drugstore concealers out there.

Asos Beauty Sale: Rimmel London Exaggerate Eye Liner waterproof and Bourjois Paris Délice de Soleil Bronzing Powder

Last tuesday there was a 24hour Beautysale on Asos.de and so I decided to order the Exaggerate Eye Liner Waterproof by Rimmel London and Délice de Soleil Bronzing Powder by Bourjois Paris. Both are brands that are not (or no longer) sold in Germany. The products arrived last friday (hello, super fast delivery).

I ordered Rimmel London's Exaggerate Eye Liner Waterproof in black. It is a classic, liquid eyeliner. There is a lot of product on the tip, so make sure to wipe off some before using it. The tip of this eye liner is something I don't get along with very well. Maybe because the eye liner I normally use has a longer, thinner tip, but to me it seems like the line the Rimmel one draws is not as thin as I would like it to be. A huge plus is, that I can wear the line all day without smudging or color fading. I like to secure my eye liner with some translucent powder. Did it the same way with Rimmel's liner and it lasted all day. Normally you pay 6,95€ on the website, but during the sale it was offered for only 4,60€.

The second product I ordered was the Délice de Soleil Bronzing Powder by Bourjois Paris. It has extracts of cocoa bean and orange blossom in it plus SPF 15. I chose the light color 12 Fair/Medium Skin. The bronzer comes in a shiny, brown packaging. A little brush is included, but I would recommend to use it only for touch-ups on the go, because the brush only stains the product on the skin and doesn't blend it well. The panoramic mirror on the inside of the packaging has a wow-effect, but I don't see any sense in it. The bronzer is scented, it must be a mix of the cocoa bean and orange blossom. The shimmer and very orange undertone you see in the pictures is not visible on the skin. It looks very natural, what I like and also stays with me nearly all day. During the sale I paid 7,88€ for it, normally it retails for 11,80€.
